41 Madison will no longer host a tabletop show, with April’s scheduled event to be the last.
Management of the 41 Madison building, Rudin Management Company, will no longer support an official New York Tabletop Show although the building will continue to host tabletop clients.
It is understood that director and senior vice president of Forty One Madison, Kristi Forbes, will stay in her position through the end of the year as a point of contact for tableware brands.
A spokesperson said the future of the show itself remained unclear after April’s event (scheduled to run from 5-8 April).
However, they were at pains to point out that April’s event will run as planned.
Brands may continue to receive and meet with customers in their showrooms and request the services in the conference space managed by MEET throughout the year and during the published Tabletop Show dates.Â
The MEET Hospitality organization, in the newly remodeled lower level of the building, will also continue to be a resource for hire for year-round meetings, event production needs and management which would include future tabletop shows for tenants and outside industry visitors, buyers, etc.Â
