Sambonet has added a new relief to its Jet Set collection – Taormina, its motif inspired by the artistic richness of the Mediterranean city’s varied cultural heritage.

The cutlery collection is available in a selection of finishes including PVD gold

Slim and stylish in its shape, the body of the Jet Set Taormina cutlery is ruled – both front and back – by a succession of geometric ornaments that evoke Byzantine art. Circles and rhombuses stolen from the mosaics and floorings of the 6th century, created in the Norman-era by artists from Constantinople and still present in the Sicilian city today.

This sophisticated yet contemporary relief is added to the wider and more versatile Sambonet collection that conceives a new way of understanding cutlery design, re-evaluating its decorative aspect as it did in the past and – above all – putting it in relation to the other elements on the table. A mixture that opens the mise en place to experimentation with different styles and on different occasions.

Tarmina joins Jet Set cutlery collections inspired by Venice, Siena and Portofino.

The cutlery collection is available as a table set for six people and in six-pcs set espresso spoons or cake forks, in the iconic mirror stainless steel version, the refined PVD gold, copper and black.
