Riedel has announced the appointment of Julie Barba to executive director of Riedel Crystal North America. She will lead the largest subsidiary of the world-renowned Riedel Glass company, second only to the parent company in Austria.
With 25 years of experience working with Riedel, Julie has extensive expertise across all aspects of production and sales.
Previously, Julie served as vice president of Riedel Development, where she focused on custom designs and the private label business; and most recently, held the position of executive vice president of Riedel Crystal of North America since 2018. Before joining Riedel, Julie worked in the fine wine industry, managing distribution across the U.S.
A certified sommelier, Julie has a personal passion for collecting fine wines, which she enjoys sharing with friends and family. Currently, Julie splits her time between homes in both Austria and the US.
