British Designer Richard Brendon has launched The Cocktail Collection, his newest addition of hand-crafted crystal.
The Cocktail Collection is a nine-piece set of mouth-blown crystal that has been specifically designed to enhance every part of the cocktail experience, from the preparation and serving, through to the drinking and enjoyment.
Featuring all the glassware required to make any classic or modern cocktail, the collection is a complete set for the mixology enthusiast, for the home or professional user.
Inspired by the beautiful mouth-blown glassware from the turn of the 20th century and today’s modern cocktail culture, Richard Brendon’s new collection celebrates creative skill both past and present.
The dimensions, proportions and capacities of each glass have been meticulously considered, resulting in precise and well-balanced crystal that delivers the perfect serve every time. Indeed, the gossamer thin rim feels almost invisible when taking a sip, enhancing the tasting experience and allowing the focus to be on the all-important cocktail.
Lead-Free crystal of this finesse and clarity can only be achieved using the traditional technique of mouth blowing. This precision and know-how has been practised and refined by craftspeople in Slovenia over centuries, making their talent impressive to witness and the crystal a delight to use.
Whilst the Classic pieces are a statement of elegant simplicity, the Star Cut features small stars, reminiscent of the intricate details often found on antique glassware. Each of the stars have been individually hand cut onto the crystal by our expert craftspeople, who pride themselves on their refined workmanship.
While the glassware is delicate in nature, it has been designed with practicality in mind, and as such can be cleaned in the dishwasher.
