The TRA (Trade Remedies Authority) has launched a business and consumer survey linked to its review of ceramic tableware and kitchenware imports from China.
The body says it is using surveys to gather evidence from businesses and consumers affected by the measures under investigation.
The survey is open until 5 October 2026 and can be accessed here.
This survey is intended for UK businesses that produce raw materials used in the production of CT&K (upstream businesses), UK businesses that purchase CT&K for resale or for their own use (downstream businesses), and household consumers of CT&K.
TRA says the survey is not intended to be completed by exporters, importers or manufacturers of the products being investigated who should instead complete a questionnaire from the Trade Remedies Service.
The TRA says results from the survey will help them understand the effects tariffs on these imports might be having on businesses and consumers. Information submitted will be used anonymously for the Economic Interest Test (EIT).
