French designer Morgann Lechat has created a sensitive and emotive new collection for Rosenthal. Far, Far, Closer showcases an intimate journey into the self with the designer using emotive graphics to catalogue the journey.
Rosenthal says the sensitive and at the same time insistent motifs are space-spanning, they do not restrict themselves by formal boundaries, but cross them and reconnect beyond them – and tell, with hands and faces, their stories of the need for touch and closeness, to ourselves and others.
The collection intentionally consists of a limited selection of articles: plates, cups and bowls in various sizes as well as a vase limited to 100 pieces.
