Digital event planned for A/W20 edition
Clarion Events, organisers of London’s Top Drawer, have announced the cancellation of the autumn show – instead revealing it will take place virtually. The event was due to take place in London’s Olympia from 13-15 September.
The decision was taken following the recent announcement by the UK government that exhibitions will not be permitted in England until 1 October 2020.
“Whilst we had hoped we could deliver an event for the community, safely and successfully, we have also been busy planning for such an eventuality. We are now ready to launch Top Drawer virtual, a unique digital alternative that is sure to inspire, engage and connect our community of brands and buyers,†says show director, Alejandra Campos.
“The support of our exhibitors and visitors over the last few weeks has been incredible, and we are pleased we can provide them with the opportunity to network, forge new business and access the shared learning that they always turn to Top Drawer for,” she adds.
Top Drawer’s new digital platform will offer the show’s community new opportunities to network and expand trade. The September programme will provide both UK-based and international buyers easy access to exciting product launches, expert advice, inspiring case studies, next season trends, and much more.
Additional information about the virtual edition of the show will be released in coming weeks.
