Mandala – part of the Monsoon Home Collection by Denby – recently caught the attention of independent trend forecasters Scarlet Opus, who highlighted it for their ‘soul searching’ buying trend for 2020/21, which was showcased during Exclusively Digital.

First introduced in 2019, the assortment – originally inspired by a kaftan dress from Monsoon’s fashion archives – combines global influences with bold patterns and a rich colour palette – think teal, walnut and amber.

Interestingly, the pattern seen across the Mandala range can be found on traditional Indian tile work and wood block printing.

Mandala is part of the Monsoon Home Collection by Denby.

Designed for both casual and intimate dinners – Mandala comprises various sized plates and bowls available in four different sizes. There is also a ceramic platter and a serving bowl, ideal for presenting food or as a stand-alone decorative piece.

Denby have accentuated the collection with patterned teal accessories, including placemats, coasters and etched amber glassware, which they say create an easy way to make mealtimes more interesting and visually appealing as well as an inexpensive and effective way of changing an interior.

“The Monsoon archives have a wealth of incredible patterns, especially those inspired by traditional textile block printing. The bold imagery chosen to create Monsoon Mandala really stood out as bringing together the global influences seen in the Boho Luxe styling of Monsoon,” says designer, Nicola Wilson.
