Studio William has picked up its third International Design Award. The IDA 2020 was awarded to the design studio for its flatware collection, Okina.
This makes the third IDA honour for Studio William who picked up the accolade for both Leaf Spoons and Grove Tongs in 2019.
The International Design Awards (IDA) USA exists to recognize, celebrate and promote exceptional design visionaries and discover emerging talent in architecture, interior, product, graphic and fashion design worldwide.
About Okina…
Okina Flatware is the physical embodiment of yin and yang, light and dark. Two contrasting knife designs form part of one contrasting collaboration; the Orient-inspired curvaceous knives and the European minimal straight knives. Okina allows restaurants to change the aesthetic of the table setting for lunch and dinner services, though the switching of knife designs, whilst using the same forks and spoons.
