Rosenthal and Italian fashion house Emilio Pucci introduce a print sensation with Palm Leaves
A delightful décor – first imagined by Italian fashion maestro Emilio Pucci – is being reintroduced in 2020, by none other than Rosenthal.
The Palm Leaves décor is described as a “re-edition†of Pucci’s 1967 Foglie collection, influenced by the designer’s travels to Africa, Indonesia and South America.
Dynamic new colours and shapes, inspired by these travels, were used in the development and production of his prints.
The prints used in Palm Leaves and reproduced on Rosenthal’s vases are a detail of the original design, which depicts the profiles of two women wearing headdresses in an abstract way.
Each pieces bears the Rosenthal logo and Emilio Pucci’s signature as an element integrated into the decoration, a specially made stamp that highlights the collaboration and marks each piece as limited.
