Rosenthal recently announced the appointment of Thomas Thiede as the new director of HR/People & Culture. This strategic decision will further strengthen Rosenthal’s HR department, which comprises approximately 700 employees. Thomas Thiede will oversee employees at the head office, the Rothbühl and Speichersdorf plants, the central warehouse, and the outlets and shops. He will report directly to the management.
In his new role, Thomas Thiede will be responsible for all HR administration, supporting the works council, negotiating work agreements, recruiting for high-demand professional fields, and advancing digitalisation initiatives.
Before joining Rosenthal, Thomas Thiede served as Head of Human Resources at Kiepe Electric GmbH in Düsseldorf from June 2019 to April 2024, overseeing the HR department for the Kiepe Group, which has branches in the USA, Switzerland, Canada, Austria, and Italy. Prior to his tenure at Kiepe Electric GmbH, he held leading positions at Heckler & Koch GmbH, A.T.U Auto-Teile-Unger-Handels GmbH & Co. KG, and Karstadt Warenhaus GmbH. In these roles, he gained extensive experience in human resources, employment law, and compliance, and managed various projects in personnel development and digitalisation.
Thomas Thiede brings with him a wealth of experience and expertise that will further Rosenthal’s mission of combining innovation with tradition.
“I am very much looking forward to actively shaping the future of the company as part of this long-established organisation. My goal is to develop a modern and effective HR strategy that puts employees at the centre and thus contributes to Rosenthal’s sustainable success,” says the new director of HR/People & Culture.
