Michelin starred chef Paul Ainsworth has come on board as guest judge for the Tableware International Awards of Excellence 2022.

The renowned chef is particularly famed for his Padstow restaurant Paul Ainsworth at No. 6 but equally exciting is The Mariners, Mahé Chef’s Table and Development Kitchen and Caffé Rojano, along with the Padstow Townhouse guesthouse and the Paul Ainsworth Academy, a testament to his passion for passing on his craft to a new generation.

A familiar face on TV, Paul is one of the most critically acclaimed chefs in the UK having honed his skills with the likes of Gary Rhodes, Gordon Ramsey and Marcus Wareing.

“We are really thrilled to have Paul Ainsworth on board for the Tableware International Awards of Excellence,” says editor Mairead Wilmot. “Ultimately, chefs of his calibre are at the coalface of the industry, they breathe fire and passion into food. They are plating every single day – touching, feeling, holding, looking at the aesthetic, taking it all in and it’s so exciting that Paul is lending us his expertise for the awards.”

Final entries for the 2022 Awards of Excellence are closing this week before entries are sent to our international panel of judges. The winners will be unveiled at Ambiente 2022.
