HOST Istanbul rescheduled

Tarsus Turkey postpones HOST Istanbul, Housewares Sourcing Turkey until June

Tarsus Turkey has today confirmed that its upcoming edition of HOST Istanbul 2020, due to take place at TUYAP exhibition and conference centre, Istanbul 26-29th March 2020, has been postponed in light of concerns over coronavirus/COVID-19. The show will now take place on 4-7th June 2020.

Zekeriya Aytemur, managing director of Tarsus Turkey organisers of HOST Istanbul, said today:

“We have taken the difficult decision to postpone HOST Istanbul 2020 until June due to coronavirus/COVID-19 and official advice provided by the Turkish Ministry of Trade. This is an unprecedented situation, and given the vast amount of preparation that goes into our shows, not a decision we have taken lightly. However, the health and safety of our exhibitors, visitors and staff is our top priority, and working on the advice of our local partners ZUCDER and our exhibitors, we feel the best course of action is to postpone the show until 4-7th June 2020.
We have been continuously monitoring the local situation in Turkey and the wider region, and are following all government advice, as well as that of the World Health Organization.
We thank all our exhibitors and partners for their understanding at these challenging times, and look forward to working with them on the rescheduled show. All other Tarsus Turkey shows in 2020 are currently scheduled to go ahead as planned.”
