For almost two centuries, Grecque has been one of the defining forms of Fürstenberg porcelain manufactory. Created during the Biedermeier period between 1840 and 1850, the collection combines classic elegance with a clear, faceted design language. With Rouge Bordeaux, the heritage collection now receives a new design that reinterprets the historic form in a rich burgundy hue. At the same time, Fürstenberg demonstrates the versatility of this classic with the additional contemporary variations Vert Menthe and Satin finish, showing how many different ways it can be styled today.

The deep burgundy of the new Rouge Bordeaux design accentuates the characteristic facets of Grecque and gives the historic form a fresh, distinctive presence. The warm colour creates an inviting look and offers versatile styling options – whether as an elegant statement piece or combined with the white and satin-finish versions. The result is table settings that work for every occasion, from breakfast to dinner and from a late-summer brunch to a festive Christmas table. Grecque Rouge Bordeaux will be available from late October 2026.
