Fiskars has upgraded its outlook for 2021 as the company’s financial performance in the second quarter has been better than previously expected.
The company now expects the comparable EBITA for 2021 to be in the range of EUR 140-160 million. The previous outlook issued in April was expected to be in the range of EUR 130-145 million.
In a statement, Fiskars said the Covid-19 was still impacting consumers’ lives in terms of disposable income, purchasing choices and consumer behaviour which may bring challenges and opportunities to Fiskars Group. The statement also said, “The seasonality of both trade and consumer demand may continue to differ from a typical year. In addition, there have been challenges in global supply chains and increasing raw material price inflation. While the company has managed to mitigate these factors, they continue to have an impact.†Fiskars will publish the Half-year Financial Report for January-June 2021 at the end of July.
