Denby has launched Constance, a new porcelain collection available from March ’23.
Inspired by nature, Constance has a subtle pattern of mixed foliage characterising spring blossom and summer fields in shades of soft grey.
Constance has the appearance of fine porcelain in a delicate warm grey colour palette but also has the versatility and durable attributes for which Denby is renowned.
As well as drawing from the ever-present influence of botanicals and biophilic design in interiors, Denby’s new collection is also a nod to the work of Constance Spry, an educator and author, who was also an internationally renowned flower arranger with Royalty included amongst her clients. Constance, who was born in nearby Derby in 1886, often used Denby vases for her magnificent floral arrangements.
The assortment includes multi-sized plates and bowls, large and small mugs plus a serving platter and bowl. Constance is available in single items or gift boxed options all in recyclable packaging.
Constance pattern designer, Lisa Mynett, shares her inspiration: “Constance is an exciting mix of spring blossom and summer flowers with swaying stems for a mood-boosting design. Soft patterning sweeps across each piece, creating layers to bring interest to the table. This easy-to-live-with, quiet botanical design gives consumers the opportunity to express themselves – the mixed scale abstract blooms and foliage encourages consumers to be experimental with their tableware.”
To complement Constance, Denby is launching Arc Grey in the summer but also Denby’s Classic White and Arc White porcelain make good companions for the collection.
Intended to be used and enjoyed every day Denby’s made in England porcelain is dishwasher, microwave and freezer safe as well as oven safe to 250°C.
