The British Home Enhancement Trade Association (BHETA) is to hold a second virtual ‘Meet The Buyer’ event with Homebase on March 25. This follows the first event in January, when the focus was on building products, flooring, tiling, fixings and tools. This second event will move the emphasis on to decorating and cleaning products.
The Meet The Buyer format is a tried and tested BHETA retailer networking event and has translated successfully into a Zoom format.
Currently at an exciting stage in its strategic development and growth plans, Homebase is keen to engage with suppliers of: Decorating Accessories, Paint, Wallpaper, Cleaning Sundries, Eco cleaning, Chemicals, Mops, Vacuums, Steam mops, Irons, Window vacuums.
Representatives from the Homebase commercial teams will be in attendance including buyers for categories including decorating accessories, paint, wallpaper and cleaning sundries. Suppliers can attend with a maximum of two people and will be allocated a 20-minute appointment with the relevant buyer, during which they need to focus on product features and benefits, together with cost price proposals. Suppliers can also book additional appointments if they have products relevant for other categories.
Chief Operating Officer of BHETA, Will Jones said, “Homebase will again be a big draw for suppliers and given the success of the first event, I am certain this one will be very popular, so I advise early booking as places will be allocated on a first come first serve basis with BHETA members taking priority.â€
BHETA members can attend at a cost of £45.00+VAT. There will also be opportunities for non-members to trial the opportunity for the first time at a cost of £149.00+VAT. Non-members who have already attended at BHETA Meet The Buyer event are also welcome at a cost of £199.00+VAT. (Payment by non-members must be received no later than Wednesday March 17)
