Rosenthal’s newest series, the Asian-inspired Bloom, puts floral shapes front and centre with bowls and dishes reminiscent of open hibiscus flower heads, while plates and cups are mostly puristically round.
The porcelain tableware collection comes in three colourways – Lava, Scarlet and Snow. The irregularly applied, matt coloured glaze gives the items in the Lava and Scarlet colours a touch of handcrafted stoneware, making each product unique.
Noted pieces include a jar with a lid, bowls with a foot, a pourer and small bowls in shapes inspired by nature – all in the Scarlet colourway.
Simple, white glazed plates and cups in the colour Snow, also partly in flower shapes, complete the line.
The Bloom line will be available in stores and at www.rosenthal.de from September 2024.
