The Arcturus Group has signed an exclusive distribution agreement with Corrado Corradi Srl for the Ichendorf Milano brand. This commercial partnership will see Arcturus – which boasts brands such as Sambonet and Rosenthal under its remit – introducing Ichendorf glasses into the US market.

Ichendorf Milano, a historical and recognized brand in the glassware segment, is known for its refined range of glasses, goblets, beverage accessories and objects in blown glass with a style that is both essential and authentic in shape and design. In the handmade collections one finds objects that in their asymmetries and irregularities

retain the mark of the human imprint. Today Ichendorf is part of the Milan-based company Corrado Corradi, which has been producing and distributing major brands of porcelain and crystal ware throughout Italy and abroad since 1908.

Heritage, design orientation, Italian identity and a focus on high-level tableware are the common elements of Ichendorf Milano and Sambonet Paderno Industrie – part of Arcturus Group – and helped building a commercial partnership of mutual growth in the Ho.Re.Ca. sector at national and international level. These are markets where Arcturus Group boasts a well-established distribution network, a sales branch in New Jersey, and a continually developing commercial leadership, and where Ichendorf has significant potential for penetration. Through its controlled Rosenthal Sambonet USA, Ichendorf will also enter the retail channel throughout North America.

Ichendorf Milano glassware selection offered by Sambonet Paderno Industrie will keep the recognizability, stylistic signature, and essentiality of Ichendorf Milano, as well as the quality and purity of the glass that – for nearly a century – have distinguished the entire production, authenticity, and success of the brand.

Giovanni Coppo, Chief Executive Officer of Sambonet Paderno Industrie

“We are proud to welcome this Italian excellence into our tableware family. We believe that Ichendorf Milano perfectly embodies the values and quality standards that we strive to deliver to the market through authentic products and superior craftsmanship,” commented Giovanni Coppo, Chief Executive Officer of Sambonet Padernon Industrie. “The agreement with Corrado Corradi presents us with a new and challenging opportunity to explore, as well as the chance to complete and enhance the Group’s premium tableware offering with design glassware and goblets that are perfectly complementary to our porcelain and cutlery lines as well as a complete range of professional kitchenware.”

With 300 employees at its Orfengo (NO) headquarters, Sambonet Paderno Industrie exports its products to more than 80 countries, generating one-third of its sales through the wholesale and e-commerce channels, and two-thirds through the HoReCa channel. The Arcturus Group grew by 5% in 2023 vs. 2022, reaching a turnover of more than 190 million euros, and Sambonet Paderno Industrie exceeds 95 million, up 9% on 2022.
