Vista Alegre has partnered with iconic luxury brand Liberty London on a new collection. Lotus is a vibrant series which takes inspiration from the famed department store’s illustrious history of pattern, print and textiles.
Featuring a complete range of tableware, including charger plates, dinner plates, soup plates, dessert plates, bread plates, bowls and serving dishes, as well as tea and coffee services, the Lotus collection offers an array of potential pairings.
Liberty preserves a vast archive of more than 60,000 books of patterns, paintings and drawings, collected since the 1880s. The Lotus collection is the result of a close collaborative effort between Liberty’s internal design and archive teams and Vista Alegre’s creative team. This creative dialogue enabled the re-interpretation of early 20th-century textile fragments, adapting them to the world of porcelain through a joint process of research, design and experimentation.
