LSA International is opening its first independent pop-up this week. Coinciding with Paris Design Week, LSA’s pop-up – Connections – opens its doors in the Marais on 7 September until 11 September.
LSA says Connections, the pop-up, will act as a space to reflect on connection through different lenses. Through nature and the way in which it unites all living beings on planet earth. Through design as transcendent of physical, social and cultural boundaries, joining individuals in shared aesthetic appreciation. Through craft, acknowledging the many people working cooperatively to create something. And through people – how our connection to each other fosters a sense of purpose, contentment and community.
The brand says the connection to place too is significant and considered—not only is the Marais a key fixture of Paris Design Week, it is home to a diverse mix of communities, which reflects LSA’s own values and cultural identity. After an absence in recent years, this pop-up welcomes LSA back to Paris and engages the local expertise and collaborative spirit of the creative district. Seasonal flowers are sourced from a neighbourhood florist, furniture procured from fellow partners in the Paris design community and the LSA team can offer recommendations to make one feel like a local in the area.
From 7 – 11 September, Connections opens its doors to both trade and public audiences alike.
Where you’ll find Connections: 5 Rue des Blancs Manteaux, 75004 Paris, Thursday 7 to Monday 11 Sept, 10:00 – 20:00 (22:00 on Thursday).
