Nymphenburg will celebrate its 275th anniversary this year with a must-attend event for art lovers.

The famed Groningen Museum, will host an exhibition on the diversity of the accomplished brand’s porcelain designs.

From 15 October 2022, 1,565 pieces from the manufactory’s repertoire will be on display in the museum’s Philippe Starck rotunda.

Chief curator John Feldkamp, himself an active Nymphenburg collector, combines the exhibits with art, fashion, photography and design objects from the museum’s holdings. The resulting still-lifes are not only a charming compliment to the virtuosity of Nymphenburg’s artisans, but at the same time reflect the typically Dutch sense of humour.
