Dutch ceramics brand Heinen Delfts Blauw has officially reopened its flagship Concept Store in the historic centre of Delft following an extensive restoration and renovation after a major fire. The renewed location combines retail, craftsmanship and hospitality, offering visitors an immersive experience centred around the heritage and future of Delft blue pottery.

The reopening marks an important milestone for the company, whose roots are closely connected to the city of Delft and its world-famous ceramic tradition. The redesigned Concept Store has been created as a destination where visitors can discover the full breadth of the Heinen Delfts Blauw collection, from contemporary home décor and tableware to exclusive hand-painted pieces.

A key feature of the store is its focus on craftsmanship. Visitors can learn about the production process of Delft blue through digital presentations and live painting demonstrations by master painters working on-site. By bringing the making process closer to consumers, Heinen Delfts Blauw aims to strengthen appreciation for traditional ceramic craftsmanship while presenting it in a contemporary retail environment.

Alongside the store, the company has also opened Lekker Blauw, its hospitality concept that combines food, drinks and tableware in a single experience. Following the successful introduction of the concept in Putten, the Delft location allows guests to enjoy freshly prepared dishes and beverages served on Heinen Delfts Blauw tableware, creating a direct connection between product and experience.

The integration of retail and hospitality reflects a broader strategy to create meaningful brand experiences and engage consumers through multiple touchpoints. By combining shopping, storytelling, craftsmanship and hospitality, Heinen Delfts Blauw is responding to the growing demand for experiential retail within the home and tableware sector.

With the reopening of the Concept Store and the launch of Lekker Blauw in Delft, Heinen Delfts Blauw reinforces its commitment to preserving Dutch ceramic heritage while continuing to innovate for modern consumers and international visitors alike.
