BHETA is to hold a live in-person forum at Federation House, Birmingham on 29th January, following high demand for a new programme of face-to-face events, interspersed with online equivalents. The ‘BHETA Independents Day’ event will focus on the independent retailer sector, offering delegates a unique opportunity to explore the opportunities, challenges and solutions inherent in supplier / independent retailer trading.
The day promises a dynamic lineup, featuring presentations from key players like Bira (Bira Direct and Mica) and Stax, alongside insights from independent retailers and BHETA members. Through case studies and shared experiences, the forum will provide a comprehensive look at the evolving retail landscape.
This live, face to face event will take place on Wednesday 29 January 2025, 10am – approx. 3.30pm in the Diamond Suite at the Federation House, 10 Vyse St, Birmingham B18 6LT. Amid recent challenges in the industry, including the closure of prominent businesses such as Homebase, the forum will address the critical role independent retailers play in shaping the future. Suppliers, wholesalers, and distributors are invited to re-evaluate their approach to this vital channel, exploring ways to strengthen relationships and seize new
opportunities. Attendees will also benefit from invaluable networking sessions, fostering connections with peers across the industry.
