Kosta Boda
Kitchen2Table Showroom, Building 2, Suite 893
The Rocky Baroque collection from Kosta Boda is an equally rebellious and playful remix of the classic column. Monumental lines collide with pop colors and raw, angular surfaces in this unique series. Not least in this vase, looking to turn any twig or bouquet into art, or simply brighten your room on its own. Handmade in Kosta, Sweden, and available in three vibrant colours; Cool Pink, Hot Pink and Oxblood. Design by Hanna Hansdotter. Retail price: $1,200.
LSA International
Building 2 857B/834A
FOLK
Vibrantly coloured stripes are borrowed from traditional Polish textiles and decoration in the FOLK Collection. Staggered bands of alternating colour mimic Łowicki fabrics, and the exaggerated silhouettes of layered, billowing skirts are seen in the wide, undulating vase shapes. Solid, coloured glass rods are fused with a gather of clear glass and then mouth blown into a bespoke mould. The skilled, handmade process produces distinctive folk-inspired patterns and organic forms, with no two vessels ever being the same.
VICTORIA
A collection of vases created in tribute to the late florist Victoria Taberer-Bond. A long-standing partner and friend to LSA, Victoria crafted arrangements for editorial shoots, bouquets for the LSA showrooms and presented flowers for events, always lending her passion, astute eye and love for organic colour. Her inspiration came directly from the natural world, with her vivid style challenging uniformity. In her memory, the mouth-blown vases are based on the design of florists’ conical metal containers, with the flared or tapered forms and wide flat collars giving choice and emphasis when arranging flowers and foliage.
SCULPT
Stacked geometry and angular modern shapes define the SCULPT Collection. The carved wooden totems of Constantin Brancusi are referenced in the sculptural outlines of each mouth-blown vase and vase/lantern. Forms appear to expand and contract rhythmically across the collection as close attention is paid to line, scale and equilibrium. The neck of each piece slants inwards or outwards, giving choice when arranging flowers, foliage and single blooms.
ARC CONTRAST
A collection of tumblers which add colour and texture to the original clear forms of the GOOD DESIGN Award winning ARC drinkware collection. Tactile translucent and matte finishes meet in the centre of the glass to create contrasting surfaces which play on light. The soft gentle silhouettes sit comfortably in the hand and the tonal array of colours lend themselves to creating individual or multi-hued colour stories. Dishwasher safe.
Orrefors
Kitchen2Table Showroom, Building 2, Suite 893
With Reed, Monica Förster shows how to create a sense of organic movement by emphasizing folds. A quiet swaying in the hard glass. The vases are blown in amber glass and come in three sizes. A Red Dot Product Design winner, the collection was introduced in 2023 in clear crystal as well as a moss green edition. Retail Price: $400-$1,000.
Vista Alegre
Atlanta Building 2, 858 and 859
Exotic, seductive, and very versatile. The Shangri-La collection creates cohesion and complementarity from the decorations and non-linear shapes so typical of stoneware. Unpredictability creates harmony, and spontaneity creates a very relaxed elegance
From the rich collection of Raphael Bordallo Pinheiro and his son, Manuel Gustavo, Bordallo Pinheiro has now recovered a piece first created in 1904 and held in the permanent collection of the Ceramics Museum in Caldas da Rainha. The elegance and formal innovation of the piece, the Lobster Vase, was significant in the decision to reproduce it. It combines the characteristic naturalism and exuberance of Bordallo Pinheiro, while featuring remarkable restraint in its design and painting. With its pure and minimal geometric lines, including the square design of the handles and the symmetry of the decorative elements, the Lobster Vase anticipates modernism in Portugal. Retail Pricing: $4,200
