Spode has launched a capsule collection to celebrate 250 years of American independence.
Americans will mark the 250th anniversary of the Declaration of Independence on 4 July with Spode’s collection honouring the occasion.
The limited-edition collection is an extension of Spode’s internationally beloved Woodland assortment, and comprises four core pieces: a dinner plate, side plate, cereal bowl and mug.
To mark the anniversary of the Declaration of Independence, each piece is centered around the iconic bald eagle motif, symbolising freedom, strength and courage, framed by Spode’s iconic British Flowers border dating back to 1831.
Handcrafted from earthenware in Spode’s Stoke-on-Trent factory, the collection blends traditional English craftsmanship and timeless design with American heritage. The collection is completed with a special backstamp to mark the occasion.
