Luxury tableware company Xavier Britain has launched a new collection in collaboration with design and illustration house Kinship Press.
The Millefleur collection is a romantic reinterpretation of early Renaissance millefleur tapestries in a collectable blue and white colour scheme.
The motif is enhanced by whimsical details alongside miniature scenes from nature. Can you spot the dancing unicorn and wandering ladybird? Or perhaps the burrowing hedgehog hiding below the honeysuckle, bluebells and pansies?
Each piece is made by hand in Stoke-on-Trent. The wood-engraved design is silk-screen printed in a classic cobalt blue before being sponged onto the fine bone china, which is finished with a matching, hand-painted rim.
The collection includes a teapot, milk jug, mug, pudding plate and dinner plate. Each item is dishwasher and microwave safe, and prices range from £42 – £165.
