Designer Maham Anjum, famed for her work with global restauranteurs, has been named Tableware International’s 2026 Designer of the Year.
Maham was honoured at the recent Awards of Excellence held during Ambiente.
Maham is someone who has contributed not just a stellar body of creative work to the industry but is also renowned as a person of generous spirit, heart and incredible warmth.

A graduate of Ceramic Design at Central St Martins, Maham has long been held in high esteem across the industry – crafting a body of work which is at all times organic, beautiful, intuitive and, as is so important in this line of work, highly functional.
Recognised for her work with restaurants such as Darjeeling Express, Cinnamon Restaurants, Boathouse Copenhagen and many, many more, over the years Maham has worked with many chefs and restaurants in the UK, EU and South Asia and Middle East. Along with many brands and companies including Narumi, Royal Crown Derby, Midaya Ceramics, Jamie Oliver, Habitat, House of Fraser, David Mellor Shop. Not forgetting her incredible and ongoing work with Steelite International.
