Orrefors has won the Fine Glassware category at Tableware International’s 2025 Awards of Excellence, held recently at Ambiente. The Fine Glassware was presented to Orrefors’s Remco Snoeck by Crystalex’s Ladislav Silhan.
Judges were impressed by Geometry’s sleek design and contrasting shapes which they said make it a “very interesting collection”. They also noted the unusual shape of the narrow water decanter, calling it was “real conversation piece”.
Spheres, cylinders and cones form the basis of the aptly named series Geometry, a highly anticipated, new mouth-blown tableware series for Orrefors by Swedish architect and designer trio Claesson Koivisto Rune.
