Carrol Boyes has launched a new cutlery collection – Allure. The collection includes a 24-piece set along with salad servers and a set of four steak knives.
The development of the Allure cutlery range began in 2012 with a rough sketch from Carrol. From Carrol’s sketch, a long process of design and development ensued with multiple drawings, notes and prototypes exchanging hands between her and the product development team. Initial production samples, however, weren’t quite to the standard required and the project was put on the back burner for a few years.
In around 2019 the project was revived, with renewed technical drawings, sampling and packaging development, culminating in Allure at last arriving in January of 2022 – 10 years after the first sketch!
The Allure 24-piece cutlery set embodies sheer simplicity through a combination of a dramatic silhouette and a minimalist aesthetic. Crafted from 18/8 stainless steel with a sleek mirror polish finish.
