Lifetime Brands Europe has a host of new, on-trend tabletop collections, ideal for the gifts market.

From the Mikasa brand to their collaboration with the V&A Museum to their partnership with Tipperleyhill, Lifetime Brands has a lot to offer retailers looking to expand their stock offering.

Speaking to Tableware International about how they make the gift market work to their advantage, Claire Budgen, commercial & marketing director, says: “We’ve used the driver of social media to our advantage – targeting key designer influencers and collaborating with them to offer collections within our Mikasa brand that are new and completely unique.

“We’ve collaborated with UK based artist Sarah Arnett, who recently was named artist of the year at the Brighton Artists Open House event, using her eclectic and bestselling designs across statement gifting, dinnerware and barware influenced by flora, fauna, film, poetry, architecture and travel. Sarah’s style pushes the boundaries of colour and pattern, the collection is one to really stand out online or on shelf.”

Lifetime Brands Europe has also continued its partnership with the V&A Museum on a new Alice in Wonderland tabletop assortment, launched in time for the autumn winter gifting season.

“The new collection showcases the intricate illustrations inspired by Sir John Tenniel’s renowned Alice in Wonderland artwork, plus we’ve added a touch of modern flair with on-trend pastel colours and the V&A’s signature floral designs. The packaging in this collection forms an integral part of its gifting too, with cut out intricate details within the giftbox for a fantastic unboxing experience.”

Claire adds they have extended their gifting collaboration with UK based artists, Tipperleyhill, to include key tableware pieces such as side plates, cups and saucers, each of which feature Tipperleyhill’s much loved quirky animal illustrations.

“Each of our ranges is unique with real stand-out designs, and we continue to develop in this way as the market demands it. Tableware tends to be very browse worthy with consumers wanting to see how ranges style together and or to pick up and touch the items.
