To mark its 275th anniversary, members of Villeroy & Boch’s founding families have designed four special anniversary mugs…
Ophélie de Pimodan, from the seventh generation of the Villeroy family, is a textile designer and lives in Paris. Her Flora & Fauna design features an imaginative poetic decor in captivating colours. It reminds us of how many decors from Villeroy & Boch’s history have been inspired by the great wealth of colours and shapes from the plant and animal kingdoms.
Carl-Angelo Kivu, a member of the tenth generation of the von Boch family, has a degree in Liberal Arts and contributes a bright and optimistic décor with Memories. The design portrays his characteristic illustrative, humorous style in an uplifting colour scheme.
Lucia Quiqueran, also a member of the von Boch family, uses light but expressive strokes to sketch out values such as community, joy and belonging on the Connection cup.
The (Tree) Trunk cup by Michel Villeroy de Galhau, from the seventh generation, impresses with a dialogue of powerful blocks of colours and precise artwork. His design for the 275th anniversary conveys respectful appreciation of nature and mindful observation of the moment.
