The Bornego Group has announced its acquisition of Nova Keramiek (Nova Keramische Industrie B.V.).
For more than 40 years, Nova Keramiek has been a trusted name, supplying high-quality decorative pottery to customers in the Netherlands and abroad, with an extensive range of flowerpots, bowls, and vases, all produced in the Netherlands (Enschede).

The Bornego Group is a family business active in the ceramics industry. It currently operates from four production locations and is active in both the construction and consumer markets. The core of the company stems from Royal Goedewaagen, one of the Netherlands’ oldest companies, which has been active in ceramics production for 400 years. Although some of their brands are produced outside Europe, their business operations and philosophy are characterised by the preservation of the ceramic craft and its rich history. Their own production locations are in Nieuw-Buinen, Sneek, Franeker, and Varel (Germany). The Bornego Group believes this acquisition will once again preserve a strong name/brand with a rich history.
Nova Keramiek’s product portfolio and associated production techniques fit perfectly within the Bornego Group. With its flowerpots, bowls, and vases, the Bornego Group has the opportunity to strengthen and significantly expand its position in the retail market, both in the Netherlands and the rest of the world. The production of Nova products will be implemented in the Royal Goedewaagen factory and customers will be supplied from Nieuw-Buinen.
