The latest issue of Tableware International is ready to read!
The May/June issue features Noritake on the cover with the brand highlighting its beautiful Reverie Garden and Spring Symphony collections – you can read all about these on page 24.
We also highlight the gorgeous new collaboration between Vista Alegre, Netflix and Shondaland on their new Bridgerton collection, that’s on page 74.
On page 38, we speak with Portmeirion’s new CEO Michael Sheepers about industry issues, and he tells us about plans for the Spode and Portmeirion brands.
We also cover some great product categories in this issue; from the all-important, all-white tableware (pg 26) to melamine products (pg 44). We also look at festive tabletop and its importance to the market from page 46 and hospitality glassware on page 58.
Meanwhile, if you turn to page 62 we speak with museum director and curator Margaret Carney, Ph.D. of the International Museum of Dinnerware Design who tells Tableware International about the founding of the museum and explains how it curates its collections. All this and a preview of Exclusively which takes place in London in the coming week, that’s on page 68.
