The latest issue of Tableware International is online now. Featuring news, views, trends and more, this April issue is jam-packed with quality content.
Along with our traditional six-page guide to glassware which starts on page 36 – (there is something really exciting about glassware at the moment, the category feels fresh, which is superb) – we also focus in on vases (page 56), outdoor tabletop products (page 50) as well as looking at key trends such as Japandi (the fusion of Scandinavian and Japanese styles on page 94).
We take a look at floral favourites on page 18, while our columnist Michele Trzuskowski also spotted the trend while she visited trade shows season and she talks us through her favourites on page 28. Our retail interview this issue is with AMARA’s Sam Hood on page 30. Speaking of online, from page 32 we talk with Nextrade and Juniper Market to learn how they walk the line between physical and digital. This approach makes for an interesting read but key, really, is that the trade show is still king and digital won’t be replacing it anytime soon. This rings true too for the industry figures we interviewed about the future of trade shows on page 64 – everyone said the same thing, they want trade shows back. Which should be reassuring for the new 41 Madison association.Â
P.S While we have recently announced the winners of the Tableware International Awards of Excellence 2022 – you can turn to page 71 to read what they have to say about their awards. We also interview our Lifetime Achievement Award winners Manfred and Christa Zieher on page 92, a true power couple!Â
