Serving platters for hospitality
As the hospitality industry gets up and running again â€“ now is as good a time as any to focus on collections designed to make tables look as enticing as ever.
Step forward Figgjoâ€™s Tri collection, which launched last year but was showcased at Ambiente 2020.
The set of three serving platters, imagined by Figgjoâ€™s head of design Morten Engebretsen, offer a geometric yet organic shape, crafted to bring something interesting to the table â€“ other than the food, of course.
â€œThe shape is based on an equilateral triangle where the corners have been given a soft rounding. The curvature between the surface and tab is generous and open around the entire shape,â€ says the company.
Figgjo says the largest dish in the set is perfect for sizeable pasta dishes or salads in a buffet while the middle size allows you to combine several of the Tri shapes and at the same time vary the size as needed. Meanwhile, the smallest dish can be used as a half deep bistro dish or for serving.
